Restoration of slope failures on existing trail by installing reinforced pile walls along adjacent Tomahawk Creek and along slopes at the edge of the trail; protection of slopes uphill and downhill of the trail by implementing large modular block retaining walls and a natural limestone rock feature.

Crews worked with difficult access of near-vertical slopes and unusually cold, wet weather to restore slopes adjacent to the trail. Landscaping was installed to reestablish the site to a natural state while stabilizing the grades from future erosion and deterioration.
